Diamond Bar's Previous General Plan Land Use Designations
on September 5, 2020
Notice that most of Tres Hermanos's portion is designated as a "Planning Area." Planning areas are designed to aid in development--not preservation. Notice that a portion of it is also designated for high density housing. Here's a question. Where will Diamond Bar place its required housing units for the upcoming housing element update?

Diamond Bar's Terrain Map.
on September 5, 2020
Notice how most of Diamond Bar is comprised of hilly slopes of over 30 percent. The vast majority of undeveloped land in Diamond Bar has similar slope percentages, is geologically unstable, prone to landslides, is in fire prone areas, and is ecologically necessary for our health and well being. We can also see here that the Chino Hills' portion of THR is also mostly comprised of slopes of over 30 percent.
